Six Miles, Plenty of Pubs and £8,000 Raised for Rossendale Hospice
September saw the return of Rossendale Hospice’s fantastic charity Pub Crawl and Coppenwall was proud to play a part.
The event brought the local community together for a six-mile walk through Rossendale, with some much-needed refreshment stops at pubs and venues along the route. Emma and I laced up our walking boots and joined the brilliant turnout, enjoying a day filled with good company, plenty of laughs and an incredible community spirit.
Coppenwall sponsored the event and hosted a stand at Haslingden Cricket Club, where it was great to meet so many of the walkers and supporters taking part.
Most importantly, the event raised an amazing £8,000 for Rossendale Hospice. The money will help fund the hospice’s invaluable day services and compassionate palliative care, supporting local residents and their families when they need it most.
