What’s Happening With the Housing Market – 2023 – Coppenwall Estate Agents

House prices aren’t crashing but normalising. In recent years we have seen a boom in property prices, for example a 2 bed terraced house will now cost around £150k

With the new era of interest rates, this has put even more pressure on buyers achieving a mortgage. Higher mortgage rates are limiting demand from homeowners, first-time buyers and investors.

We have heard through various channels that interest rates are now stabilising, and we’ve seen a number of our clients achieve 4 – 5% fixed mortgages. At Coppenwall we have a fantastic mortgage partner, so if you do need help with borrowing – contact the team.
