Edenfield is a village within Rossendale, and lies on the River Irwell. It has over 2000 inhabitants, and has seen a huge growth as a commuter settlement in recent years.
Edenfield is best know for it’s small bustling high street, and offers a number of shops, pubs and eateries. One of the most popular is the gastropub, The Coach of Edenfield, which is rated as excellent on Trip Advisor.
There are also a number of great walks from Edenfield. Most of them start with a big climb up the surrounding hills and quarries.

Edenfield has an overall average price of £169,444, and was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Bury (£171,657), but was more expensive than Rossendale Valley (£149,924)
In the past year, house prices in Edenfield were 11% down and similar to 2012 when they averaged at £168,029.
