Irwell Vale is a small village, located in Rossendale, between Ramsbottom and Rawtenstall.
Irwell Vale is most renowned for its railway station on the East Lancs Railway. The preserved heritage railway runs steam and diesel trains throughout the year, stopping at Rawtenstall, Ramsbottom, Bury and Heywood.
This lovely little village is also part of the Irwell Sculpture Trail, where you can see sculptures by many artists, including Richard Caink who framed the Irwell Valley.
Terraced properties were the most popular purchase in Irwell Vale last year.
Irwell Vale also had an overall average price of £124,000 which was cheaper than Rawtenstall (£184,266). Irwell Vale is a highly desirable area to live, and due to so few properties coming on in the area, the house prices are showing growth.
Settle yourself in the heart of the beautiful Irwell Valley. Remember, houses move rapidly here.
